FAQ
Questions, answered calmly
A short list of what families usually want to know before a first visit — booking, dental care, and how to find us.
How do I book?
Open Our Location, sign in to the patient portal if needed, choose a day and time, select your pet, then confirm. After the visit, a digital report appears in your account.
Do you see cats as well as dogs?
Yes. Dogs, cats, farm animals, and exotics are welcome.
Do you offer dental cleaning?
Yes. We offer anesthesia-free dental cleaning in the clinic when it is a good fit, and full anesthetic dentistry — including X-rays and extractions — when that is safer or medically needed. We clean all surfaces of all teeth, including below the gumline.
Do you use anesthesia or medication?
It depends on the patient. We offer anesthesia-free dental cleaning when it is a good fit, and full anesthetic dentistry when that is safer or medically needed. We will talk through the option that fits your pet.
I’m a new client. How do I get started?
Create a patient portal account, add your pet, and book a visit. New client consults are Monday–Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Do you still offer house calls?
No. Care is in-clinic only at our hospital. Anesthesia-free dental cleaning is a veterinary medical procedure and must be performed under veterinarian supervision in a permitted facility.
Where are you located?
Our hospital is at 7438 Cardwell Avenue in Orangevale. Open Our Location for hours and directions.
What should I bring?
Please bring current vaccination records. Rabies vaccination is required for most visits.
